Winnie is a dry bar – you save by buying alcohol and ice wholesale.
As we cover such a large area with many different councils, we do not hold a liquor licence and do not provide, sell or serve alcohol. -
If power is available that is great. This can be done from any mains source that we can run a lead to. However, if your event is in a remote spot, you can hire a generator, through your local hire shop, for your event and Winnie can plug into that. We provide the electrical cables. We recommend a quiet generator.
You will need to have access to some water supplies to fill the drinks. Winnie doesn’t have the space to clean glasses, so guests should be encouraged to reuse their glassware.

Yes we do, however some venues, parks, beaches etc will have their own requirements. This is the responsibility of the event organiser to meet these.

Any fairly flat area that has relevant vehicle access. Winnie is 4.65m long, 2m wide and 2.2m high and is towed by a classic 1970 Ford F250 truck.

No, unfortunately due to space inside the caravan we are unable to take the empties away. We do provide rubbish bags for these.

Once we have received your non-refundable deposit, the requested date is all yours. That day or night will become unavailable to others and we will not take any further bookings for that date.
Note that if you cancel with seven days or less notice, then the full amount still needs to be paid.

Winnie has two under bench refrigerators which need to be replenished throughout your event from your chiller trailer. You will need a bucket or chilli bin to keep frozen ice for drinks.

Yes we require a $300 fully refundable bond with your final payment. Please note that prior to being refunded, any breakages or damage will be deducted from your bond.

When our service time comes to an end we will pack up and do a quick tidy of the surrounding area.
We will return any unused beverages to the chiller trailer or put them on a table that you have supplied for guests to continue.
We will discuss with this with you at the time of hire to see what you prefer.
Please note that all our glassware will need to be packed up. So you might want to arrange some disposable cups before the day of your event.
Any unfinished food and platters will be removed from the hired tables and placed in the chiller trailer or on a table supplied by you.

We will do the setup which includes décor and styling of the interior and nearby surrounding exterior of Winnie.
We usually allow ourselves one and half hours for this. However some events may require a longer time. Please note this does not come off your service time or incur any additional costs – we simply will arrive earlier.
We provide any glassware, outdoor furniture, and lighting that is included in the package that you have selected for your special day.
We are always a phone call away. And for preparation and planning, we will have face to face meetings and if possible, site visits. -
You will need to supply all alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages and mixers required for your drinks menu. This lets you purchase directly from liquor stores or supermarkets, to take advantage of specials, saving you a lot of money.
A chiller trailer is highly recommended. Winnie can only hold a certain amount of beverages. As we typically arrive within a few hours of your event starting, having a chiller trailer means you will be able to pre-chill your drinks.
It also means that you will be served nice cold drinks throughout your event.
Appropriate vehicle access and fairly flat / level ground with enough room to set up Winnie.
We may want to do a site visit prior to the day to ensure that Winnie will work for your event.Prices are subject to change

You save by providing the people to serve your drinks.
We will provide a support person to assist with Winnie, but they will not be serving drinks.

We will bring some stylish drinks dispensers to fill with infused water for your guests.

We also have drinks tubs we can put ice in. We do recommend that you keep your drinks chilled beforehand in a fridge or a chiller trailer.

Winnie is based in the beautiful Wairarapa but is always happy to travel southward to see new friends in the Wellington Region. If your event is more than 30km away from her base, then travel fees will apply.

Yes. Once you are happy with everything, we will send an invoice and a booking agreement to you. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold a date for you.
The remainder is due two weeks before your event.
